About

My story begins with people.

I joined FedEx as an intern. Over more than 30 years, I worked in different areas and markets until I became Vice President of Customer Experience for Latin America and CEO of FedEx Brazil. I grew up with the responsibility of delivering results, but I learned that no result sustains itself on its own.

Leadership is learned in relationship with others.

Looking back, I remember the people who taught me, challenged my certainties and trusted me. I also remember the moments when I had to listen more, change my mind and make decisions with real consequences for teams and customers. Those experiences shaped the way I work.

Executive experience gave me a repertoire. It did not give me ready-made answers for every company or every leader. That is why I start by listening and understanding the context before suggesting a path.

See the ways I work

My career, in four moments

  1. Intern at FedEx
  2. Roles in Brazil and other markets across the Americas
  3. Vice President of Customer Experience for Latin America
  4. CEO of FedEx Brazil

From operations to the conversations that help transform.

Today I work as a mentor, consultant and board advisor. I also share ideas in talks, on the INSIGHTS podcast, in articles and in the video series about my career. In every format, I try to bring what we discuss about leadership closer to the choices people have to make every day.

Purpose has to show up in practice.

I believe in leadership that sees people as a central part of strategy. That includes creating the conditions for them to contribute, learn and go through change with clarity. The result matters. So does the way you get there.
